No Occupational Licensing, Certification Or Specific Legislative Requirements Apply To This Qualification At The Time Of Publication.

Duration

This program is delivered over a total duration of 52 weeks including holidays and term breaks. This total duration consists of 40 weeks of course delivery plus up to 12 weeks of holiday/break time depending upon the intake. Twenty hours (20hr) of classes are scheduled for each week.

Pre-training Review

All students will undertake pre-training review which aims to identify their training needs through questions on previous education or training, basic computing skills and interview conducted by Sapience College. Interview also aims to identify possible RPL opportunities. Through pre-training review student will demonstrate that they have necessary skills to successfully complete the course

Language, Literacy and Numeracy test (LLN)

All students are required to undertake a language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) test mapped at ACSF level 4+ conducted by Sapience College. Candidate undertaking this course must possess sound Numeracy skills since it requires them to do calculations, make reports and graphs

English language requirements

1. An IELTS Level Of 5.5 Or Equivalent For Direct Entry Into A VET Course
Or
IELTS Band Score Of 5.0 (Academic Or General Version) Then Satisfactory Completion Of ELICOS Or ESL Up To 20 Weeks At Upper Intermediate Level To Be Taken Before The Main VET Course.
Results Older Than Two Years Are Not Acceptable OR

2. Evidence That They Have Studied In English For At Least Five Years In Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Republic Of Ireland, South Africa, the United Kingdom Or the United States Of America OR

3. Evidence That Within Two Years Of Their Application Date, They Have Successfully Completed Certificate IV Or Higher-Level Qualification From The Australian Qualifications Framework

There Are No Entry Requirements For This Qualification.

Students Obtaining A Competency For All Units In This Course Will Be Awarded The Full Qualification BSB50820- Diploma of Project Management, Which Would Include Certificate And Record Of Result. Students Not Obtaining A Competent Result For All Units In This Course Or Leaving The Course In The Middle Will Receive A Statement Of Attainment. Indicating The Actual Number Of Units, They Achieve Competency

Students who complete this course will typically be able to perform project management job  roles in business services and other industries. 

This qualification is the start of project management career and will open career pathways  across many sectors such as: 

Project Administrator, Project Management Facilitator, Project Leader and Program  Administrator

  • BSB60720 Advance Diploma of Program Management or another Advanced Diploma  level qualification

Participants who exit this course at any time prior to completion will receive a Statement  of Attainment for the units of competency they have successfully achieve.
